I’m Sammy, 25 years old, living in Los Angeles, and excited to share my passion for food, fitness, & a healthy lifestyle.

Since I love reading blogs SO much, I finally decided to start my own. This blog is where I will share my daily journey of food, recipes, playlists, family fun, fitness, travel, and the randomness of a WI girl living in LA. Time to share a “taste” of my life. Time to express my passion for health and nutrition.

A little more about me:

I love to cook. and eat. and bake healthy treats. I can’t wait to use my new Vitamix EVERY DAY.

Working out makes me happy. Zumba. Running. Cardio-weight classes. Yoga. Hiking. mmm. all of it.

I could eat an entire jar of peanut butter in a day…..so I’ve been loving peanut flour. (Of course I couldn’t cut out the real thing and still love ALL nut butters.)

I love the beach.

I’m a spaz. I ramble. I accidentally break things more often than I’d like to admit.

I grew up in Wisconsin and my family means the world to me.

My favorite foods: Sweet potatoes!! And bananas. And green smoothies/juices. And ezekiel tortillas. And cinnamon. And kabocha squash. And dark chocolate. Almond butter. Greek yogurt. All breakfast foods (healthified!)…

There’s nothing like a good book and a rainy afternoon. Rain in SoCal? Almost never- so reading on the beach instead.

I’m looking into pursuing a Masters degree, in Public Health or possibly Nonprofit Management. I’ve got a BS Nutrition from UW Madison (go Badgers!)

Some day I’ll have a Viszla.

I love camping and exploring and nature. Jeans and t-shirt girl.

If I were a hoarder, you’d find me surrounded in my apartment by stacks of magazines. Fashion, beauty, fitness, recipes, gossip…I guess it goes back to the love of reading and people watching 🙂

My fiancé is the best.

I love all things girly. and mini.
